(formerly Clostridium Perfringens Types C & D - Tetanus Toxoid)
For use in healthy cattle, sheep and goats to help prevent Cl. enterotoxemia caused by cl. perfringens Types C & D and Type C in healthy swine. Inject SQ or IM 2 ml and repeat in 3-4 weeks. 21-day slaughter withdrawal.
This is the CD & T of choice when we vaccinate. The Colorado Serum does not leave a lump at the injection site as other brands tend to. Sometimes those lumps can be mistaken for CL and get your goat bumped out of a show.
I much prefer the Essential 3+ to the other basic brands of CDT products. I have found that the Essentials brand does not cause the unsightly injection site bump that I used to get with the other brands. I still rub the injection site down after injecting just as I did before, but now there is no unsightly bump afterward. Very pleased with this brand.
